A little update =)

Here at OrangePiggy’s LittleDog life has been an adventure. If you have a custom with me right now I want to thank you for how patient you have been.

We have been extremely busy getting our house ready for an inspection. We are in the middle of trying to get licensed to do foster care. We knew we were going to go down this road, but we had no idea how fast it was all going to happen. When I took on the customs we had no knowledge we would be in the middle of all this right now.  I am working on completing things as quickly as possible and hope to have out the door my last 2 custom orders in the next 3 weeks. I am starting a waiting list that I will start in 3 – 4 weeks.

A few things have happened recently to put me a little behind. Besides getting the house ready…while getting it ready we ended up a flooded basement. So while trying to get everything ready we had to spend extra time getting everything cleaned up. (No worries I do not keep my yarn in the basement).

So again I apologize to the couple of people on the list thats its taken this long. I am working on your orders now. We are through the first inspection so I will have more time to focus on the knitting. I will be in contact with each one of you in the next day or 2.

I ran out of yarn to do the i-cords so I had to have someone dye more yarn for me, that is why the drawstrings are slightly a different color.

Finally

Finally reactivated my store online.

I am open to customs.

Not much is going on right now. My son is doing so well in school that it excites me. Its been giving me more time knit so that is a good thing.

Summer is over…

Summer is over and my son has started school. I hope now that summer is over I can get back to updating this blog regularly.

I took a break for the summer to spend time with my son.  I hope to get back into knitting regularly now. It was a nice break. But am ready to get the needles back out!
